Our 
Story

Each year, more than 4,000 babies are born at Regina General Hospital, with over 500 of those newborns requiring care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This means that one in every eight babies born in Regina and its surrounding areas needs specialized support during their critical early days, weeks, or months.

Our daughter, Eleanor, was among those who required such care. Born in August 2022, more than seven weeks early and weighing just 4 pounds, 4 ounces, her arrival was both sudden and challenging. Due to a high demand for NICU space, we were nearly transferred out of the province. However, thanks to the prompt and expert care provided by the NICU team at Regina General Hospital, Eleanor was born safely and received the essential care she needed during her first crucial months.

Our family remains deeply grateful for the exceptional care we received, and last year, we channeled that gratitude into action by hosting the inaugural "Local Bands for Tiny Hands" Cabaret. Thanks to the generous support from our community, we successfully raised nearly $16,000 for the NICU. This year, we are excited to announce the second annual "Local Bands for Tiny Hands" Cabaret, scheduled for March 1, 2025. The event will feature Saskatchewan's own, Justin LaBrash with band True North as the headliner, with Karissa Hoffart opening the evening. We are eager to build on last year’s success with an even more impactful event.

How You Can Help

Our goal this year is to surpass our previous fundraising total and provide even greater support to the NICU. Every dollar raised will go directly to ensuring that the most vulnerable members of our community receive the best possible start in life.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We are offering two sponsorship levels for this year’s event:

​

Platinum (Named) Sponsorship - Contact for pricing (only 1 Available)
Deadline: November 15, 2024

- Recognition as the presenting sponsor of the event (e.g., "Local Bands for Tiny Hands Cabaret presented by [Your Company Name]")
- Prominent placement of your corporate logo on all event materials, including posters, tickets, and promotional items
- Mention in all media advertising, including a minimum of $1,500 in radio ads
- A dedicated post on all social media channels highlighting your sponsorship
- Prime recognition on event pages and in email marketing campaigns
- Corporate signage at the event, including banners and table signage
- Verbal acknowledgment during the event’s opening and closing remarks
- Two reserved tables for 8 at our pre-event dinner (16 total seats)
- VIP meet-and-greet with the artists for up to 16 guests (limited merch given)

 

Gold Sponsorship - $1,100

Deadline: December 15, 2024
- Corporate logo featured on the event poster

- Recognition on social media and event pages - Corporate signage at the event
- Verbal acknowledgment during the event
- Reserved table for 8 at our pre-event dinner

Donations and Silent Auction

In addition to sponsorship, we welcome monetary donations of any size, all of which will directly benefit the NICU. We are also seeking items for our silent auction. Donated items will include your business’s branding, providing excellent exposure to the auction winners. Smaller donations may be combined into larger prize baskets.

Event Promotion

If a financial contribution or silent auction donation isn’t feasible, you can still support us by helping to spread the word. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to display our event poster in your establishment. Additionally, if you are active on social media, sharing our event posts would significantly enhance our visibility and help us reach our fundraising goals. Word-of-mouth promotion is also invaluable, so we encourage you to share information about our event with your network.

Event Details

Please join us for an evening of live music and community spirit in support of a vital cause. The second annual "Local Bands for Tiny Hands" Cabaret will be held on March 1, 2025, at the Turvey Centre. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $35 and will be available for purchase online through the Turvey Centre starting January 15, 2025. Tickets can also be purchased in person by contacting Krista at (306) 552-6888.
