Did you know there are more than 4,000 babies born at the Regina General Hospital every year with more than 500 babies born in Regina and surrounding areas requiring NICU care? That’s 1/8th of the babies born in Regina that end up in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit even if it is just for a short period of time.

Our daughter, Eleanor, was born in August of 2022. She came very eventfully 7+ weeks premature at a mere 4lbs, 4oz. When the doctors decided she needed to be born within 24 hours, they set to work ensuring that they were ready to bring her into the world. Given a tough scenario, they almost had to transfer us out of province to have our tiny human as there just wasn’t enough room for her at that time. Who knew there was a surge of preemies born in the summer???  One thing led to another and she had to be born here. With some quick thinking and even quicker action plans falling into place, our girl was born minutes after a decline in her heart rate.

I will be forever grateful for the Regina NICU, the nurses and doctors that took care of her when she was in her first weeks/months of life.

Here’s how you can help! We have big goals of raising upwards of $15,000.00 towards the NICU. Every dollar we raise goes directly to the tiny humans that need a little extra help in the first days, weeks or months of their precious lives.

DONATIONS AND SILENT AUCTION

We all know money talks so monetary donations are accepted and very much appreciated. We are also looking for items for our silent auction. All prizes donated will have the opportunity to include business marketing so the winner can reach out to your business further. Smaller items may be added to a basket for a larger prize.

POSTER

Maybe you’re not able to do a financial donation and silent auction items are not your jam. Visibility is crucial to us selling out this event and we would be forever grateful to you if we could hang a poster in your establishment. Please reach out and we would be happy to drop them off.

CABARET

Join us for a night out saving babies and supporting local bands in the process. Details of date and time will follow.
